Teclast is one of many Chinese manufacturers producing tablets, and generally are considered one of the better ones. They have had a tablet, the X98 Air, available for a few months now. The 9.7″ device came with android preinstalled, but Teclast has made available a bios version which allows you to install Windows 8.1. This is possible because the device uses an Intel Z3736F processor. Now, Teclast has announced a version which comes with a dual-boot option preinstalled.
With a retina quality screen of 2048 x 1536, this is more or less the same display as the iPad Air. The Intel processor can burst up to 2.16GHz, a very impressive feat. 2GB ram, 32GB storage, micro HDMI and an sd card slot make this an interesting device. There’s also a version with 3G built in. Teclast is to make it available the end of December.
